Where we ship
Yarnmuffin ships throughout Australia and to New Zealand. We currently ship to selected international destinations on request — please email hello@yarnmuffin.com before ordering if you’re outside Australia or New Zealand.
Shipping rates
All prices below are in Australian dollars and include GST.
- Australia: AUD $8.00 flat rate. Free shipping on orders over AUD $75.
- New Zealand: AUD $15.00 flat rate.
- Rest of world (by arrangement): AUD $30.00 base + actual postage if higher.
Processing time
Orders are typically packed and posted within 2 business days of payment. Orders placed Friday afternoon, weekends, or public holidays are processed the following business day.
During sale events or yarn drop launches, processing may take up to 5 business days. We’ll let you know if your order will take longer than usual.
Delivery time
Once posted, you can expect:
- Within Australia: 2–7 business days via Australia Post Standard. Express options available at checkout where applicable.
- To New Zealand: 5–10 business days via Australia Post International.
- Rest of world: 10–21 business days; varies by destination and customs processing.
These are Australia Post’s estimated transit times. Delays outside our control (weather, customs, public holidays, peak periods) can extend delivery. Yarnmuffin is not liable for delivery delays once an order has been handed to Australia Post.
Tracking
Every order ships with a tracking number, which is included in your shipping confirmation email. You can track via auspost.com.au/track using the tracking number provided.
Lost or damaged parcels
If your parcel hasn’t arrived within the expected delivery window plus 5 business days, or if it arrives damaged, contact us at hello@yarnmuffin.com with your order number. We’ll lodge an investigation with Australia Post and either replace your order or refund you, depending on the outcome.
Photograph any damaged packaging on arrival before opening — Australia Post requires photo evidence to process claims.
Incorrect address
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. If you notice an error within 1 hour of ordering, email hello@yarnmuffin.com urgently and we’ll do our best to update before posting. After dispatch, parcels returned to us due to incorrect addresses can be re-sent at the customer’s expense (standard shipping rates apply).
PO Boxes and parcel lockers
We can ship to Australian PO Boxes and Australia Post parcel lockers.
Customs and duties (international orders)
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or fees levied by their destination country. Yarnmuffin has no visibility of and no liability for these charges.
